We're the largest digital as-built service provider in North America, serving clients in markets spanning from retail, to specialty forensics, and everything in between.
Using a variety of instruments, we capture existing conditions - topography, buildings, interior spaces, etc. - in highly accurate detail that allows for 2d and 3d measurement. Read more »
We create digital 2d plans and 3d models from the data we capture - or from data you provide. As-built 2d documents or 3d models are created for a project as large as an entire airport, hospital, shopping center, or high rise building. Read more »
We are incredibly unique and believe it is better to assist others in achieving success in their mission, so we provide training on data capture, or technical modeling to anyone who wants assistance... including our competition. Read more »
Beginning a project with inaccurate measurement is a recipe for disaster. If you're in construction you know that projects are almost never built to the actual plan specification, which is why getting accurate as-built information at the start of the project is so important.
Inaccurate measurements can lead to:

Recently our team was given the opportunity to assist in the construction of the Kuwait Cultural Center in Kuwait City. It will become the iconic image for Kuwait in the Middle East.
Advantages of utilizing laser scanning:
Saks Fifth Avenue recently renovated the flagship store and corporate headquarters in Midtown, Manhattan. Plans included tenant improvements and upgrades in preparation for merchandising leases. Design partner, Gensler, began the construction documents and quickly became concerned about accuracy of as-builts. Eco3d joined in efforts providing services to identify existing architectural, structural, and square footage discrepancies from as-built documentation.
Understanding the leasable square footage of an interior space is critical to achieve the ROI for the building owner. There is no better way to complete this mission than with highly accurate 3d measurement. Recently we discovered a 2,000 SF error on the 6th floor of a luxury high rise in a major city. The outcome was as follows:
Capturing the above ceiling conditions for accurate as-built information is extremely challenging because there are no light sources. Laser scanning technology completely eliminates this problem by using infrared laser technology. The results are incredibly accurate, photo quality point clouds that are used in measurement and/or 2d/3d model creation.
The advantages are:
Eco Reality Viewer, “ERV” is a web based remote viewing system that allows the user to tour any facility or landscape using an HD 360’ photo viewer from the convenience of your desk.
Why is ERV so popular?
Honestly, we were shocked how affordable using their service was, and what a huge value it offered everyone associated with the project.
